Durban’s no 1 Video Company and Boxer

I must make mention of the awesome things Boxer is doing to uplift the community. Not only are they doing great things with their Youth Leadership Experience which uplifts the youth of South Africa and develops leaders in business but they are now making dreams come true with their great initiative, “Make Dreams Come True” with Boxer

The no 1 Video Company Durban, GCV Productions, was priveledged to film behind the scenes of their new tv advert to announce this great initiatve at their Sundimbile store on the North Coast.

Fun was had by everyone involved and we got to see what goes on behind the scenes to make a television advert. Well done to Andrew and his very professional team for pulling off a great TV advert

So the guys at GCV Productions have been buying a bit of video gear to make sure the no 1 Video Company Durban offers its clients the best possible service at the best rates.

Thanks to advanced technologies specifically designed to keep the camera flat no matter how you move it, the DJI Osmo helps you record videos and take photos like never before. It is much more than just a camera. It helps you create with more freedom than ever.

We tried the camera last night at the local running club. I switched the camera on, attached my cell phone to the holder (your phone acts as a viewfinder) The camera connects to the cell phone via wifi built into the Osmo. Below is an example of the footage taken (this is without applying any special techniques)

Next up is the Zoom H5 Audio Recording Device.

The H5 Handy from Zoom is a compact, portable handheld digital recorder that is capable of four-track recording and features an interchangeable, modular microphone system. The recorder ships with an XY microphone capsule and is compatible with the existing line of H6 modules including the optional shotgun mic and XLR/TRS input modules.

The included XY stereo mic module provides two matched unidirectional condenser microphones set at a 90 degree angle, and features a built-in shock mount system and a maximum SPL of 140dB. Additionally, the recorder is equipped with two inputs for external sources, allowing you to record simultaneously with the included stereo XY mic for a total of four input channels. Each input is controllable by its own analog gain knob, and also has a -20 dB pad.

Wow, can you believe Boxer and GCV Productions has been working together for over 15 years! Yes…15 fun filled years creating amazing videos for training, for promotion and for just plain fun! Every year Boxer hosts a “Youth Leadership Experience” This happens once a year over a period of one week and allows approximately 50 children to attend a week long camp to learn leadership skills and develop lifelong friendships. Lets have a look at an early video production out at the North Coast where Boxer support the young leaders of South Africa by creating a fun filled week of team building and friendship development. (2009)

Fun was had by all but you have to remember this time spent at the team building venue is to develop leaders to take South Africa and future business to great heights. GCV Productions is fortunate to share the experience with Boxer and the 45 lucky students chosen to attend the event.

Lifelong friendships develop and important skills are learned in an action packed week. Most children attending have never flown before so what an experience for all the children at the camp. Andrew Mills – Marketing Director @ Boxer attends the event to meet the children one on one and spend time creating friendships and life lessons.

Below is the same Leadership Experience in the year 2016. Boxer stick to a remedy that works and makes sure GCV Productions is there to capture the experience and memories. A big thank you to Andrew and all staff at the Leadership Experience for a great few days and we look forward to many more
