Hi guys, welcome to another blog from Durban’s no 1 video production company in Durban. Today lets talk about filming properties. We at GCV Productions have been filming properties for about a year now. We call it a video walkthrough. We use the DJI Osmo and a Canon DSLR for the photos. The idea of a video walkthrough is for the property to be viewed by a potential buyer looking at photos and video. I believe the photos are the first sell. If a potential buyer likes the photos they will then move onto the video.
And obviously the photos and video must show the property in the best possible way. I will attach some pics and a video of a recent property we filmed and photographed in Cowies Hill KZN.

‘Time of Day’ can be very important when filming a property. What is the sun doing at the time of filming or photographing. Are harsh shadows developing, is the outdoor light too bright creating a silhouette?
Make sure all lights are turned on in the property (if possible) and toilet seats placed down.
Lets have a look at a few photographs taken last week.
These pics are of a 3 bedroom house for sale in Cowies Hill. Time of day was about 10:30 am. About 20 photos taken overall and a video showing the property. A canon dslr is used to best show the property. We could use a wider angle lens to possibly show off the size of the rooms.
